Eli the band man!!

Eli has really gotten into the football season this year! He has gone to 4 WVU football games this year and stayed the whole game. He HAS to wear a jersey EVERY day (thank goodness he has 3, although he is about to outgrown them all :() And loves listening to the band. He has been playing "band person" the past few weeks and is adorable! he even does some of the same moves the band does. Sorry about being sideways?!!

Mia is 3 months!

So my baby is 3months old! She continues to add joy and wonder to the Jackson family! Eli adores her and loves to hold her! He doesn't seem to show any anger or animosity towards having a new addition, except he might kiss her just slightly too hard, or push her swing a little too fast! At her 2month appointment she was 11 lbs 5oz 75%! She was 95% for length..but so was Eli at this age and has now rounded into the 50% we are not destined for tall children...adorable but not tall! This weekend was unseasonably warm for Pittsburgh and we played all weekend outside! Mia was able to feel the grass on her adorable little toes for the first time and loved it! I can't wait to take her to the beach and she can touch the sand, she is my daughter so I know she will love it!

Eli is a dare devil!

I uploaded the pictures backwards...oops
We were outside doing yard work yesterday when I noticed Eli was trying to ride his tractor down the hill...so I made him put on a helmet and took some pictures! I knew I wasn't going to be able to stop him so I thought I would at least capture the moment!

Halloween

We spent this year trick-or-treating at my mom's with Eli and Mia's cousins. We had to be in Morgantown to take Waldron family pictures so we thought we would just make a day out of it! It was super cold so Mia stayed in with Dad and the mom's took the kids around the neighborhood and had a blast!! Eli was a super cute Captain Hook and had so much fun picking out candy!

Mia is 10 weeks!

Well Mia is now 10 weeks old and continues to be a joy in our lives!! She is such a sweet and happy baby! She sleeps from about 9pm-730am and wakes up all smiles! Eli loves her but constantly asks when she is going to be big enough to play with?!

More Mia & Eli

Eli was playing so well with Mia the other day it was super cute! I have some video on the i phone but I am not sure yet how to transfer it over to the computer! Here are some pictures for now!

Mia is getting bigger!

Here are some pictures from weeks 5-6! She is such a joy to have around. Eli adores her and is actually pretty good. He just sometime thinks he can pick her up out of her pack and play and carry her over to his chair!! but they are wonderful! I feel like I am starting to get into a pretty good routine and am much more calm and collected with them. I love being a mommy and enjoy being able to spend so much time with them, but I do miss a few nights away at work.....I know I can't believe I am saying that! But I miss the adult interaction and using my education. I feel so thankful for being able to stay at home all day with the kids and still being able to have a few evenings to use my education! I am also thankful to have such a wonderful husband, he is my best friend and I know he does so much for me and our family!

4 weeks old...a little late!

Well I can't believe how fast she is growing...she has little chubby cheeks and next to baby Macy I am sure she is huge! She LOVES to look at her big brother and he adores her! She will hold her head up off your chest to look at your face and Eli will say, "Baby Mia looks at people." It is an adjustment with two but I love it! We took both kids to the WVU game this weekend and I was very anxious about it, but I have such a wonderful husband who truly loves his family and puts us first ALWAYS and he adores being around his children, so we had a great family moment! Now usually we have very extravagant tailgates but this one we just had turkey sandwiches and chips but still had a great time! Being a mother and wife has been the best thing I have done!! I can say right now I am truly happy!!!

Cousin visit

When we were visiting with my mom, my sister and her 2 boys were also staying with my mom and dad. Nick just found a job in WV and a lot closer to us!! We are soo excited to have them close and to be able to visit with our cousins! Eli adores Hayden-although they seem to have a love-hate relationship!

Mia is 3 weeks old

This is a little late, but Mia these pictures were taken on her 3week birthday! I can't believe she is 3 weeks old. She is getting more and more alert and cuter by the second. She looks a lot like Eli when he was this age, but also has a lot of me in her!! I love having alittle girl! And Eli is a wonderful big brother, he loves to help change her diapers and hold her!

Morgantown Visit

Over labor day Chris went up to NY for a wedding, so I took the kids to my mom's for a long weekend. Eli went with his grandfather Keith to the WVU football game while Mia and I tailgated! Then the girls went to get pedicures! It was great!

Eli's a photographer!

Self picture!

Several times I have caught Eli with my camera, well a few days ago I was too late and he had taken several pictures of his toys and his new DVD (picture of the movie playing on the TV screen!). When I took the camera away and explained this was my camera and not a toy he explained to me that his "toy" camera didn't take pictures and he needed to use mine. I think Santa may bring him a camera for Christmas!!

2 weeks!!!

Mia is 2 weeks old!! She ha several hours now of awake and alertness usually in the morning after she wakes up around 8:30 am.. She loves her big brother and will just watch him as he says, " hi baby girl" or "oh baby Mia..honey.. what's wrong." He is so sweet and watchful of her. He hates to hear her cry and will do anything to comfort her. He walked over and picked her up out of the pack and play..we had her in the elevated part of the pack and play...and carried her over to his red chair because she just didn't want to be in there anymore...while I walked up stairs to get the camera. Having two is an adjustment but we are working through it. I am blessed to have such a supportive involved husband. He will wake up with them on the weekend and let me sleep while making breakfast. I do very much love him and my family!
