Eli is really into anything Football and they sing Country Roads ALL the time, but usually wont let me tape it...so sorry about the food but he was willing to be on camera!! Moments to remember!!
Eli has really gotten into the football season this year! He has gone to 4 WVU football games this year and stayed the whole game. He HAS to wear a jersey EVERY day (thank goodness he has 3, although he is about to outgrown them all :() And loves listening to the band. He has been playing "band person" the past few weeks and is adorable! he even does some of the same moves the band does.
Sorry about being sideways?!!
So my baby is 3months old! She continues to add joy and wonder to the Jackson family! Eli adores her and loves to hold her! He doesn't seem to show any anger or animosity towards having a new addition, except he might kiss her just slightly too hard, or push her swing a little too fast! At her 2month appointment she was 11 lbs 5oz 75%! She was 95% for length..but so was Eli at this age and has now rounded into the 50% we are not destined for tall children...adorable but not tall! This weekend was unseasonably warm for Pittsburgh and we played all weekend outside! Mia was able to feel the grass on her adorable little toes for the first time and loved it! I can't wait to take her to the beach and she can touch the sand, she is my daughter so I know she will love it!
I uploaded the pictures backwards...oops We were outside doing yard work yesterday when I noticed Eli was trying to ride his tractor down the hill...so I made him put on a helmet and took some pictures! I knew I wasn't going to be able to stop him so I thought I would at least capture the moment!
We spent this year trick-or-treating at my mom's with Eli and Mia's cousins. We had to be in Morgantown to take Waldron family pictures so we thought we would just make a day out of it! It was super cold so Mia stayed in with Dad and the mom's took the kids around the neighborhood and had a blast!! Eli was a super cute Captain Hook and had so much fun picking out candy!
Well Mia is now 10 weeks old and continues to be a joy in our lives!! She is such a sweet and happy baby! She sleeps from about 9pm-730am and wakes up all smiles! Eli loves her but constantly asks when she is going to be big enough to play with?!
The other night Chris was taking Eli up for a bath and he noticed a small nail on our stairs, he called down to me to watch out for it, so then Eli walked up to me and said "Mom watch out for the nail, the boys checked it out and it's ok but you ladies be careful coming up the stairs!" He makes me laugh so much! He is such a sweet little man!
Mia poops ALOT!! We were getting ready to go to the park the other day when Mia pooped several times and it took awhile to undress her AGAIN and change ANOTHER poopy diaper so Eli said to Daddy, "Mia POOPED AGAIN and we will NEVER go to the park..."
Eli got a new raincoat and umbrella today and it looks like a fireman...as we were leaving the store he said, I am a fireman now and I am sooo HAPPY!!
Today we were driving and I told Eli we were going to Eli's home, and he said no it is Mommy and Daddy's house...so I asked him well then were does Eli live and he said, "behind the couch."!!!
We were in the car listening to one of his kindermusik CD's and a song came on, he started laughing and said, "mom this is too funny...I have to listen again" so we replayed the CD 10 times before we were home!!!
Lately Eli has been putting his fingers in his mouth and so today we had a discussion about germs and what they do, he seems very interested. So tonight I was kissing his fingers and he said, "Mom...germs.." so funny
We were in the grocery store the other day when Eli picked up a bag of chocolate and politely asked for it, when I said no Eli said, can I if I go pee on the potty?
