WVU Football games!

One of the reasons we wanted to move back closer to home was WVU football..I know it is silly but we love it! And the last couple of games the weather was wonderful...good food and great friends! 

Fall

There are so many reasons I love fall....

• I love the warm comfort food of fall...for example last night I made homemade potato&cheese soup with homemade cheese and bacon biscuits..yumm and homemade Buttermilk custard apple pie..yummy..
  
• I love the colors every family walk we just are amazed at the beautiful colors
• sweater weather...love it
• football games we love going WVU football games!
• And of course Halloween!!-and we are so excited to be in such a great neighborhood for trick-or-treating they actually close down streets!

But then I realize it means winter, christmas and Eli's birthday is SOON! and I start freaking out about what I have to get done!! This year I am going to slow down and enjoy fall!! For today!

Sorry about the irregular posts lately!! That is my life currently...OFF SCHEDULE! We are trying desperately to find a good schedule for fall but I am having a hard time figuring it out! I have switched my days to work and I hope that helps! I also think having one of our main bathrooms a disaster is throwing me off! But today Chris is home from work and IS going to finish it! Although last night we had to take him to my work-yes CHILDRENS ED to have my friend fix his finger!! He was grinding down the wall to prepare for the tile and instead cut through the tip of his right index finger-through the nail!!! YUCK!! So my friend put a stitch in it WITHOUT any anesthesia and gave him some antibiotics!! He was a trooper, although he was the color of green bean baby food!! The fun un-expectant joys of life!!

Potty training!

So we are potty training..are attempting! Eli has gone pee..once but that is as far as we have gotten! I am not super stressed about it, BUT he will poop and then remove his clothes and diaper...so you have to stay on top of him when you suspect he is pooping! So I might loose me mind during this process but we are going to keep trying!!

New bathroom...well almost!

So once again I have to publicly state I have a super husband!!  We have a long list of things we need to do on our "new" house and he just keeps on crossing projects off the list! One main project was to re-do our bathrooms-well at least  2 of the 3...so Chris and his father started to tackle that project!! It is still going but here are some updates!...and yes he re-did the walls, and plumbing and soon tile! what a guy!

Amanda's new house!

Eli and I drove up to Morgantown and then drove with my mother and ALL of my sisters-minus Amanda- to Amanda's new house in Virginia! We had sooo much fun! I just have to say having girls time is soo nice! We sang super sappy love songs, watched super girly movies, and we were just silly! We also went to a fabulous ice cream parlor and a great farmers market where we got the yummiest peaches, and I actually made peach jam with them and a peach pie! YUMMM!!!

I have been so fortunate to have a wonderful friend since nursing school! We have been maids of honor respectively and have shared so many wonderful times together! Now that we both have families it is wonderful to have family get togethers!!
